Mission, Goals and Values
The mission of the NSSO, as a Civil Service office, is “to provide excellent corporate business services to Government and other Public Service Bodies that meet end user needs and delivers value for money to citizens.”
The vision of the NSSO is “a customer-focused, innovative and learning organisation, providing consistently high standards of Shared Services that support business needs. The NSSO brings together multi-functional corporate administration and aligns and combines capabilities to deliver the best service to NSSO customers.”
The NSSO sets high standards for Shared Services in the Public Service. The NSSO works in partnership with client departments to deliver quality services that lower costs and improve the information available to managers for decision making.

At the end of each year the NSSO publishes its Annual Report highlighting its achievements that year and its strategy and vision going forward.
